Our Mission
PIVOT envisions a future where Colorado youth are empowered to thrive and realize their full potential.
That means ensuring they grow up with the guidance and mentoring they need. Providing for their nutritional and mental wellbeing. Teaching children the skills they need to be successful in school. And to prepare them for whatever career path they choose.
PIVOT is investing in life-changing outcomes.
Life-changing Impact for Children
The PIVOT foundation is a collaboration amongst Colorado’s most influential individuals, families, companies and other foundations.
Who We Are
PIVOT is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit foundation created by John Elway, Larry Mueller and George Solich to harness the power of doers and dollars who want to help children in Colorado succeed.
What We Do
PIVOT brings together nonprofits that serve children, aligns their work, provides funding and guidance. We work to increase overall impact and bridge access to quality education, mental health, nutrition, and career readiness.
How You Can Help
We engage doers and donors with unique events, by networking with influencers and through social media. We provide fulfilling volunteer opportunities and create fun ways to get involved.
100% OF YOUR SUPPORT GOES DIRECTLY TO YOUTH EMPOWERMENT.
PIVOT incites and funds a collaborative movement in Colorado for high-impact outcomes. We address the development of the “whole child.” PIVOT is the central point at which change occurs.
We fund alignment, accelerate smart giving, and improve efficiencies to deliver measurable outcomes with the highest impact.
With PIVOT, the cumulative needs of each child are addressed.
100% GIVING
All management and overhead costs for the foundation will be paid annually by the founding board members.
SYNERGY: LET’S WORK TOGETHER
PIVOT connects the dots. We bring together Colorado’s most influential nonprofits for high-impact collaboration.
RESULTS-DRIVEN
Grantees are selected following a rigorous vetting process, and held accountable for delivering specific, measurable outcomes.
THE MULTIPLIER EFFECT
Coordinate giving “top down and bottom up” by engaging established donors and the next generation of young philanthropists.
Building a Better Future
We provide services for children and young people whose families need support, who can’t live with their birth families, who are are disabled, and who are the most in need.
